Your pants carry your gear, take the knee when you need to, and have to look professional at the end of a long shift. Here's what to check before you buy.
What to look for
- Durability: ripstop fabric, triple stitching at stress points, and reinforced knees.
- Mobility: articulated knees, a gusseted crotch, and some stretch at the waist.
- Pockets: cargo pockets with dividers and quick-reach spots for a light or tool.
- Weather: moisture-wicking for summer, water-resistant finishes, heavier weights for winter.
- Fit: adjustable waist, multiple inseams, and belt loops that fit a duty belt.
Fabric in plain terms
Poly-cotton blends breathe and hold up well. Nylon ripstop dries fast. Canvas and heavy twill add structure and warmth. In a Missouri summer, lighter ripstop usually wins.
Sizing tips
Measure your real waist, not where your belt sits, measure inseam from crotch to ankle, and leave room for base layers or knee pads. If you're between sizes, we can adjust them in-house.
